Mentorship & Apprenticeship Training with Craig


Over the years I have been able to help many successful photographers learn photography, and the business of running a successful portrait studio. Composition, posing, lighting, capturing expression, as well as methods to market your talents to customers, without customers you might find it hard to pay the bills and put food on the table.

Another important area is to learn how to develop a good "workflow" to get the work done, and not have to put in hour upon hour at the computer.

Also understanding the limits of your digital camera is very important, so time can be directed even at getting you a better understanding of how to get the most from you digital camera, as well as using Photoshop and other photo editing software.

Over the years I have trained a number of photographers, many have gone on and earned their "Master Photographer" and other titles with the PPA.

How much will it cost me to not invest in my future?

What you could miss in business income and waste in time and energy during the next year, and even over a 5 year period can be astounding. How many thousands of dollars will it add to your bottom line? Many more then you spent getting the knowledge to make it happen.

Students will normally book training for a 3 day session Wednesday thru Friday and then attend the wedding with me on Saturday, and depart on Sunday to return home. Several of my students during the past two years after the first day, asked if they could extend the training, one extended his training for an additional 5 more days, an other couple added 4 additional days. The cost for adding aditional days of training is $250 per day.

For someone who has a love of photography and desires to get into the wedding business, this the best way to learn what is involved.

Students who wish to book for training for just portraits do not need to worry about going on a wedding, unless they desire to see what it is all about. Three days training with Craig for $800 and this is one on one training, not group classes.

Train at your Studio and make money in the process.

Training at your location, for some this can be by far the most valuable training you could ever hope for. A full week runs $2,000 and includes my taking care of lodging. Travel however is added to that, due to travel distance. This can be scheduled to even have me attend and photograph with you, one of your weddings.
